I seem to remember B.C. (before the crash) that I could add text under images I'd posted. It seems now that for some reason, I can't do this any more. Others seem to be able to do it, am I doing something wrong, or......???? HELP PLEASE!!

Hi Doug,

All you need to do is upload an image, click on “Manage Current Attachments”, and then select the image you want to embed into the article. Then click return after the image and then type your caption.

Here is another.

Doug, give it a try. slap.gif

It's a viewing problem. I have the same problem on my Vista PC using IE. However, no problem when I use my XP PC using FireFox.

What OS do you have Doug and browser? I'd strongly suggest downloading Firefox.

Gina, thanks, but Donna pointed out that this site seems to function best with firefox and the guy that put this thing together for us has advised me NOT to mess with too many settings and as how I am by no means 'puter friendly, I think I best stick to his advice to be safe. I guess I can live with 'things' the way they are, no big deal!!! Thanks for everyones help and advice....Doug (thad'd be me on the left, with the SMILIE FACE, LOL!!!)

I'm trying to put a caption under a photo using a real old OS and IE...
Attached File  ki4heeshackreduced.jpg ( 32.05K ) Number of downloads: 28

This text should be under the photo...

No problems here using Windows 2000 Pro with IE 6.0

I just looked at the code Doug. You posted the same picture twice. Once you embedded the picture and the second allowed the website to load it for you. Is that what you intended?

No Donna that was not what I was tryin to do..., when I open the box that says manage current attachments, the enclosed text is soo small I can hardly view it at all. In fact it was only yesterday I realized there was SOMETHING in there at all. I also kept getting a pop-up(pop-down) that I hadn't loaded any images to be added even though it showed up in the body of the message that I had. It NEVER registered in the appropriate box that I HAD!! Are you confused yet??

I know what you're saying. I have the same Lil box problem on my laptop (Vista OS and IE)... I prefer Firefox and my ole Windows 2000 Pro OS.

Doug, does your browsing program have a "Make Text Bigger" setting? (On mine this is located under the menu called "View.") It makes all the words on the screen bigger - it doesn't increase the size of the pictures, etc. Some of the fine print thus becomes easier to see/read.

53.gif Hope this helps...

Mary, (LOL!!) I'm viewing with a 24" wide (not diagonal) screen. THINGS are for the most part grande sized, its just that when I open the wide 'manage current attachments' box, the inner box is soo small, I didn't even realize that there was a scrowling feature in there..... MAYBE its a learning curve??? Attached File  KQQL.gif ( 22.59K ) Number of downloads: 4

Wonder IF this "COOL" emoticon will work for me???
