Well, I never liked sleeping on those darn dinette cushions so I ordered 4 inch memory foam and purchased a 2 inch denser foam for the bottom. I cut them to size and shape, a friend made a mattress cover and now I have a wonderful permanent mattress.

I have found that a double fitted sheet works well with my 6 inch mattress. There is a litlte excess on the sides. I just pull the excess to the rear of the trailer and tuck in between the mattress and the back wall. I don't like the top sheet or covers tucked in so I simply lay them on the top, spreading them out nicely. Actually for appearance sake I pull the top comforter down on the front side enough to cover the sheet. To keep it in place I tuck a small amount between the kitchen counter and the mattress on the streetside and a small amount between the mattress and the closet on the curb side. I fluff up the pillows, layout Lily teddy bear and I done.

I have seen the "pics" of the cute little mods you all have done, and the beds are all perfectly made up...yeah, right! With much sweat and grunting the three, count them, three times I have made up my bed in my Scamp, my bed NEVER comes out perfect! And I am a perfectionist! Soooo, I want to know, did you all photo shop the perfectly made bed pics, get special sheets & blankets made, or is there some secret I don't know? I am still sweating! You all must divulge your secret so I can stop feeling inferior

A twin size fitted sheet is a perfect fit for the "double" bed in our Scamp, since the cushions are only 4" thick. I also use a twin size top sheet & blanket. The "tucking method" described earlier _/ works best. Then, when I'm ready to give up on it, I hide the lumpy edges with small throw pillows. Ta daaaa!

Holy Poop, Batman! How many man/women-hours of your lives have you people spent making beds?

I just use a twin fitted bottom sheet and sleep under loose covers (sheet in Summer, fleece blanket in Spring/Fall, open sleeping bag in Winter), which are folded when I am feeling some OCD, otherwise randomly piled. I had enough making of beds in the military!

That is the exact same thing I do. Looks great and is really easy to do.

When you restore a trailer from a wreck to something livable, a few wrinkles don't seem to matter much.
You'll get an idea of what I mean by looking at these before and after pictures.

A simple twin bed comforter works well to put the finishing touch on a trailer many would not have wanted to step into a few years ago.

Bluebonnets photoshoped (not)!

Joyce made a fitted bottom sheet for the Walmart Spa mattress and then a top sheet that is fitted on the curb end of the mattress. Making the bed is fairly simple and then the quilt is laid on top.

Joyce has done a great job with the quilt. I am going to start making quilts for Casita's that fit the curve. I hope that they will work out just fine. Will start with my own Casita. A hint with big sheets, tie the corners in a single knot, then put them under the end of the cushions, it helps to make them into fitted sheets. I have also sewn together bottom sheets and tops sheets together to make a sheet sleeping bag, works great to keep them together. I have also added a soft thin blanket to that as well. I just cannot get a hospital corner on my rear Casita bed and make it look neat and tight, no matter how hard I try. But I confess I did copy your spare tire logo, though, and I hope you will forgive me for it.. If I can figure out how to reduce the size to 400K I'll post a pic of my creation.
