Trillium 1300 Convenience, Door Pull and Stove Grate Retainers Options

Hello,

Here are a couple of small projects that might be of interest.

Since the new Bargman L-400 was so dear to purchase, I thought it might
be a good idea not to yank on it too hard when closing the door from the
inside. Bought a drawer pull at Home depot, drilled out the fake screw
heads and mounted with four #8 - 1/2" screws. Works well.

Cook top grates used to reside in the sink when under way. Springs from Home Depot
changed that. Package had four springs, 2 long and 2 shorter. Cut the long
ones in half yeilding 6 springs that work well to secure the grates.

Restoring / modifying this Trillium is fun! Remaining projects before being ready for road -
electrical system changes, service axles, and a good washing/waxing, etc.

Yes, great ideas!

Scott, by nature stainless steel very stiff and rigid and isn't used to make coiled springs.

That all depends on how it is alloyed, worked and tempered. SS is used in dentistry all the time for it's flexablility.
