hey everyone, my boler is a 1970. when i picked it up it didnt have a furnace in it and the gas lines were just plugged off. So i started on my search to find a furnace, i bet everyone invovled with this website knows what i mean when i say those things are a bugger to track down and get ahold of. Anyways i found a bran knew never even opened out of the box Atwood 8012 furnace 12000 btu, this thing has all the bells and whistles automatic gas shut off valave, electronic ignition, digital thermostat, point is, i paid $200 for it and with a stroke of luck it fit perfectly where the exsiting furnace used to be and it works great. Was this a good deal for this type of furnace or???

Sounds like a good deal to me. Any furnace runs in the 400ish range, don't they?

Hi Brandon, I too am in Vancouver and have to source out a furnace. Where did you get it??? I don't know where to start. Also, is there somewhere in Vancouver that is reputable for servicing bolers? I am really new to this.

Thanks!

Dawn

Hey there, i actually got the furnace from my uncle who is an RV specialist, he rebuilds and restores all kinds of trailers, big trailers so a boler would be virtually nothing for him to work on id imagine. But as far as the furnace thing i can contact him and see if he would like your buisness, as you said you are looking for someone reputable this is your guy i can tell you that. I will contact him first and then let you know. Im sure there wont be a problem. He has all kinds of conections so getting a new furnace wouldnt be a problem i dont think. Ill email him now and then post you back when i get his reply. Have a good one Dawn.
Brandon.
