As you may have seen, they hacked in by getting my password. They then deleted everything and replaced it with their hate.

Here I've been out starting my winter projects on the boler and didn't even know a disaster was occurring. Are you going to open the regular posting forums soon? Please make your needs known. I'd guess theres a lot of us who'd be glad to help if you could direct us in any way.

I have heard of stupid people doing things on line but this is the first
time it has effected me, while my loss is small compared to yours it is strange seeing all those fine post gone.
when I get back on my feet I will send you more money, I have been off work since march and had to take a disability retirement.

I made a donation to the board 3 or 4 days ago using my credit card. Will they have the credit card numbers of those who donated that way?

Do they have the passwords we use to log on?

No. And, probably not.

The donation system has nothing to do with the forum software.

The passwords are encrypted. I don't think they were interested in information gathering. Just destroying.

This was a concern I had, so that is why I posted the snail mail address.

My online bill paying service has shot you off a paper check Michael. It should be there in a couple days! Hope its in time!

The content of the discussion forums was destroyed by vandals, and some of the member configuration information (avatars, etc) was also affected. Michael is working at getting the structure back, but while familar categories are back, the posts are not.


People generally are still able to get in and work with these new topics, so I believe you should keep asking, and keep chatting.

Bob, they basically stole all the threads. Nothing since Michael changed the forums a while ago was saved.

Look around, there are no posts or topics left.
