Finding a really nice cooktop on Ebay got this project going: a new formica countertop, deeper sink, new hot water dispenser and the stove. The old counter was getting warped and looked all of its 33 years of age.

This is the counter after removal of the original stove and sink. By the way, if anyone is interested in these things, they can have them for the cost of shipping and handling. Available is sink, stove, and 4" boler taillights.

Here is the finished countertop. The stove I found on Ebay has a piezo start like a household cooktop, and it runs on 12 volts. One "simmer" burner and a "hi output" burner. The grates squeeze into a groove that keeps them stable and no rattling.

The original sink was about the same size, but really shallow. This one is 7" deep.

The faucet on the left is a new unit that has handles for hot and cold water, which is captured from an icemaker valve. Running it through a filter gives you instant hot and cold drinking water. The other faucet is under full pressure, and is just straight water from and external supply or the water tank, which is equipped with a small pump, also running on 12 volts.

Next up, after we finish moving, will be a custom grey water tank.
