What's plastic, egg shaped and shiny white?
It's Smart Can!
I really love mine. :wub There are 3 sizes, but I think the smallest is just right, 11 1/2 H X 10 1/2 W X 6 3/4 D, and holds 3 quarts. Perfect for 1 or 2 days of trash. (The picture is from the website and shows the larger 16 quart size.) Smart Can is made with an inner can and an outer cover that you see in the picture. The inner can holds a liner (plastic grocery bags fit perfectly), then the outer can slips on, holding the liner in place.
Mine fits perfectly under the front mounted A/C in my Casita. Or it could be kept in the bathroom.

Neat little can Carol! Looks tailor-made for inside our little fiberglass wonders!
Where do you stow it when you are "underway" or moving?

It stays in place when we are on the road. You have to picture different proportions from the model in the photo. The one shown is about 17 H X 13 W X 9 D, but the smaller can is only about a foot tall and 7 inches deep so, at least on the carpet, it has never tipped over or even moved an inch. I do always empty it before we travel, just in case.
When it is turned towards the wall, the curve at the top fits perfectly under the front A/C (in the Casita).
I bought mine at Penny's bath department, but never see the small one there anymore. I've been searching for it on the web and the link above is the only one I've found that has the 3 quart size.

If it does ever tip over, just glue a couple of loop-side velcro pieces to the bottom to catch the carpet.
Quality control on shopping bags seems to be going down; I now routinely check 'em for holes before installing in my little down-bungeed wastebasket.
Charles, GoodNews/BadNews -- I found the little hoods for the Hehr weep holes, but they come in at least two sizes and RV store only stocked one...
Pete and Rats, attempting to use the Rollin' RatHaus' Climate Control Devices (aka CCD or round black things, mounted underneath) to change the rain and cold to dry and warm, but so far unsuccessful in North Bend OR

...aren't working properly for climate control, you just need to turn them a little faster!

That's why I love this can so much. When, not if but when, the liner bag leaks all you have to do is wipe out the can. No more drippy coffee grounds on my floor.
