Oh, man, Ches. I don't know if I'm glad you're posting pictures or not. I mean, I had no idea you had an oven in your trailer... and now I've got to figure out if I am jealous.
:jester
Note on the camera batteries: spring for rechargeables as soon as you can. I find they hold a charge even longer than a set of Duracell Ultra's. (I bought them because I knew how quickly they'd pay for themselves, and hate throwing away so many batteries. But the fact that the charge actually lasts longer is a little fleur de lis to go along with the rest of it.)

Hi Mary-------Batteries I see can be a problem. I bought an adapter to plug camera into wall socket which I can pick up tomorrow,As for oven, any unit I ever had all had ovens.Going to Lethbridge Alberta tommorow and will also pick up Battery charger.:)

Hi Pippa
The oven was already there. The big change I did was the back end where you see the bunks/beds.Any thing else I did was repairs to insolite and painting.Installed radio and put up those little picturies you see. Also put in hardwood floors, took out curtains and put in venitian blinds. Will post more photos latter.:wave

Is that that bunk we were talking about? you know, the 500 one? :)
The whole trailer looks so clean. and you used what to make/cover the cabinets with? an is that carpet on the wallsand ceiling? and did you rip everything out and put it back? and--well I'll think of something, give me a min.

Jana------All the white you see is melimaine paint. The cabinets were panelling(horrible brown)I sanded down, put on primer then painted.
The roof/wall material you see is called insolite.A type of aircraft insulation. It was hanging down in places and I reglued back up and painted it also using same paint. The bed/bunk area is free standing. They both are 3/4 size beds.I got new foam in house waiting to install.:)

You've told me that, and I just couldn't think when I saw those pictures. It looks like carpet. I like...a lot. Your door must be positioned better then mine. I only have about 2 ft to the front of my door. thats 3/4 of a twin, or a bigger bed your talking about?

I like the oven too.....but the rear bumper is cool factor 12! Give us a few more outside shots too- the glass looks well restored.

3/4 of a normal bed.Reason for that is with me working steady nite shift, I have a hard time sleeping at nite on my days off. This way I can toss and turn or get up and read or whatever without disturbing my better half.

Here are a few more inside shots.
The hardwood floors are a snap and click in place type of thing. Each peice is about 8 inches widex2ft long. There is underlay foam .took about 2hrs of work to install and a whole pile of hrs measuring.:)
Going to work on painting bathroom next.

Chester,
The hardwood floor looks great! I also like your venetian blinds. Our Bigfoot has linen curtains but they don't really cover the windows where the edges go on an angle and I keep them closed with clothespins. The blinds look so much better.
Everything else is looking very nice, too.
Thanks very much for putting up the pictures.

Looked like Ches has a sunken-slide-out. By that I mean the stove is in the next room and 2 steps down. :conf Nice concept eh? :lol

Charles-----That bumper was there when I bought it.Its quite strong and If you look close it has 4 tie down rings. The one closest too RV holds Sewer hoseand other one holds awning poles etc.I guess if you do hit a tree the back one will take the damage.:)

You have sent me docs and pictures a few days ago. Happy to meet you here. I have taken home my new 17' 1977 Boler. There are many renovations I want to make to, and what you have done is a great inspiration for my project If I am glad with what I will do, I will post some "before" and "after" pictures of it at end of spring.
A question : Is your furnace under the fridge ? Was it there when bougt the rig ? Mine is under the bunk, in center, but seller told me it doesn't work. Probably I have to replace it.
Once again, Congratulations

Hi Raymond
Good to see you here.Yes my furnace is under fridge and it works ok.Have your furnace checked because you may only need a gas valve. Its in original position.
I think I have more fun doing Mods than camping.
Post some before and after shots.
Don't forget to go to Gen Chat and look for pole on different RVs and post your boler.:wave

Hi Chester,
On your last picture posted, I see the top of your range is like a new one. Did you change the range ? the top ? Or simply clean it ? If so, using what? Mine is awefull, I spent a part of this afternoon trying to clean its top, but it is stained. I think it has not been used for a long time. I am unbuilding the range piece by piece from top to buttom of the oven. Very dirty. Besides cleaning, I am concerned by giving it a nice look. I think about painting the top with high temp paint. Has anyone an other suggestion ?
Thanks
P.S. I took some "before" pictures, but they are still in the camera...

Chester, I was just looking at your re mod on your 17 ft. Very nice.
Is that a screen door you made yourself?? Where we live they (skeets)will try to sneak in and carry you away.
We brought ours home yesterday and started to do the cleaning.
Do you travel with the satellite TV. Neat arrangement.
