I am thinking about replacing the carpet in the Trillium with hardwood. I think I can only do up to the rear area where the table is located, as the water tank in under that part of the floor, and has a hinged lid giving access to water level and tank drain. I have had hardwood floors in my two houses and like the richness.

I saw 10 sq. ft bundles of 1 sq. ft, each for about $32.00 at Rona/Revy.

We used our rig this past weekend for first time after I installed our Floors.They really cleaned up good and like you say adds a bit of richness.

I suspect you used lengthwise board, as opposed to 12" squares I saw at Rona/Revy? My house has tongue and groove oak flooring, layed lengthwise.

My floor boards were about 3ft long and 10 in wide.They were a click together type thing.No glue or nails.Also used underlay.

Looks great!
Is it Hardwood or composite? If it is laminate, don't get any water behind it, it'll swell and get damaged. We installed the laminate at the house on the whole 1st floor except entrances, kitchen and bathrooms (for the water reason). Love the stuff cause being that we live in the country, the kids come running in with their shoes, it does not scratch and looks almost as good as real wood. We would love wood in the Trillium, but it will be used in the bush and the rough and I can't see taking my shoes off before entering everytime or "guarding" the place so the kids do just that. For that reason, I think we will go with the linoleum and runner route. Also, a place to look for wood or laminate is Costco. JD

We used the 12 inch squares in ours and find them very easy to keep clean. Just shake the area rugs outdoors and wipe with a damp rag.

It is some kind of composite backing with wood face.YES you do not let excess water get on it.On last camping trip it was a dream to clean up. So Easy.
