Two new mods/purchases of vague interest to the group:

Hub odmeter. Do I need it? Naw. Neat gadget? You betcha.

A bra. An attempt to mitigate stone pecking. Why does 'cup size' keep intruding on my thoughts I wonder?

Bummer, it doesn't look like the pictures will post. Both are .jpg, under 500 pixels wide, and much less tall. About 15K file size. I'll leave it to Michael or other experts to suss out.

Steve:

What's the thing on the hub with a counter? :)

It's an odometer for the trailer. Like what you see on tractor trailers.

Oh sure, you could keep track of the distance you've pulled the trailer by noting the tow vehicle's mileage, but what fun is that if there's a toy to be had.;)

I'm not very happy with the company, OE Equipment, and can't really recommend them, after the fact, but it does work and it was economical.

By the by, now it looks like the pictures did upload in the first post. Sorry to everyone for the double post. :red

Not to worry Steve, I had a few minutes and diddled with it. For some reason, it kept dragging your comment into the picture upload link, and it wouldn't take. Even when I tried to seperate it, it included in the returns.

I finally cut all of it out and repasted one at a time and it worked. I think it was just one of those things.

returns - I'm showing my age. That's what we use to do on typewriters. Now we hit enter, duh. :o

I went ahead and deleted the repeat pictures now that Suz has finetuned my first post. Save a little memory and help those like myself with slow modems.

>>when's Christmas

Don't wait!

When's your trailer's birthday (celebrate your purchase annually!).

How about observing the anniversary of your first campout in your trailer?

Surprise your rig with a thoughtful gift anytime ... just to say "I love you."

My wife thinks I forget things; actually, I just purge my memory to maintain adequate space and to help my modem perform better.

What bra size did you get there Steve. Buttercup might like one if they come in yellow. :yep

I thought about size for a bit. I decided I didn't want it to wrap around too much because I was afraid it would flap some if the edge were parallel to the air flow. As it is, it's strapped on there pretty tight. A sports bra? At any rate, it was custom made. I even had a little cut out made around where the electric service enters from the hitch.

I also considered color. I felt that white would stain and be difficult to clean. Black hides a multitude of sins. It could be made out of any color that vinyl is available in. I suspect yellow is very possible.

There were three types of fasteners I could choose from. Snap, post or twist. I used marine twist fasteners, riveted on with 5/32 inch rivets, carefully drilled for depth. I slathered on white silicone around the rivets and in and around the holes and then I filled/covered the rivets with clear silicone after riveting

It's made of the heaviest vinyl offered that doesn't have a foam backing. I'm getting some cracking on the vinyl A/C cover which he attributed to the relatively thin vinyl used. I don't intend to leave the bra on all the time. Only during travel.

It was a quick job. I had to leave the trailer with him for 1 day. It turns out he was 2 blocks away. It was a little over $100, less fasteners, which I provided. I wanted him to be sure and use marine fasteners which I expect to be weather resistant.

Now if ya took the whole rig to a Cosmetic Casita Surgeon I bet he could separate the two propane tanks, position em properly, and 'implant' em so the bra would cover em in an enhansing manner?!

..........look out Dolly......:)
