Inside rear with new custom made window treatments(This is my wifes profession). And new custom cushions. Look close at the exterior shots, no screws through the hull to mount the curtain rod brackets. I filled all of those in before taking it to Maaco to be painted. A material called "Fiber Board" was liquid nailed between the carpet and the hull prior to installing the windows. The bracket screws were then screw into the fiber board. My wife uses this for her Hard Cornices. More mod's to come!

Very, very nice. How did you get the Fiberboard under the rat fur...I can envision my doing it and making a mess with glue everywhere.

Very nice! I saw pics of the curtains with the grommets- I thought about doing mine that way, but since I was just using some material I happen to have had in my piles here- I didn't have quite enough for the fullness required to use the grommets.

HOW I ENVY anyone who has the rear and front windows that open. I WANT SOME. Maybe in the future.

The method of the glueing the curtain rod board you describe SHOULD go into the "documents" list. Since the fewer hole in the "hull" the better, so true.

I put the glue on the 2" x 2" pieces of Fiber board and then pulled the rat fur back just enough to slide it into place. It wasn't very hard.
It was $400.00 for the paint job. I did all of the body work , which wasn't much required. They also painted the Toyota p.u.. for $600.00. It is a '92 and has 220,000 miles. I bought it new and it is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I'll post more photos later.

Looks good Gary! The effort of filling the holes and putting in the wood backers really pays off with a great exterior appearance!

Scamp and Casita can both learn lessons from you, there is no need to drill holes through the exterior fiberglass shell.

Trillium, Escape and Bigfoot all know how to build trailers without drilling holes and cluttering up the exterior with plastic caps.

I agree 100% ! They(Scamp) have a neat concept,it just needs a little more engineering thought put into it.
