I removed a oven from my trailer. It had a vent 11 in by 12 in on the side of trailer. I removed it and would like to put in a locking door so I can store things in the old oven area and get to it from the outside of the trailer. I checked at a couple of RV stores and they wanted $80 for a 12 in by 12 in door with a lock. Does anyone know where on line I might get a door cheaper. I checked Ebay and put in a search on google but seem to only get trailer walk in doors. Thanks Ken

You need to contact Ron Wrighton. He did the same thing to his Fiber Stream.

Ken,
I would give this website a try
www.rvsurplussalvage.com. They buy up end of line and discontinued appliances and parts from the major trailer manufacturers. I know that they also offer custom access doors that would suit your needs for a $15 square foot.

A true treasure trove of junk, some a great deal, some not. That's where I got my baggage doors. A buck an inch, give or take a little.
