We took the Burro and Eurovan to a VW show last weekend. Entered them in the special interest category and won. We have not done anything to the Eurovan other than add the missing bed in the back. But the Burro was our summer project. They judged the two as a unit.

Here are pix.

Next summer, hopefully, we can work on the '68 VW pickup and us it to pull the Burro. We decorated the Burro to match the pickup, blue and white. But it needs engine work, body work, and electrical work first.

Congratulations.... Obviously they knew a winner when they saw your trailer. Your trailer looks great.

Nice job Cindy:

Just this afternoon, The Trailer Goddess an I returned from a rod run (as they are called) in North West Washington state with the car/trailer barely visable in my avitar here. We were awarded "Best Campsite" AND Best in Class (Orphan) for the car. Best in Class is self explanitory, but "Orphan" is used to describe vehicles not built anymore. Our car is a 1937 Plymouth and Plymouth was pulled from the Chrysler line up years ago!! bow.gif

Nice job yourself, Doug! You will have to post bigger pix. I hope we can have our pickup ready to pull our Burro one of these days. There are not too many '68 VW pickups. We have been told that there were only 200 shipped here during a year.

Here is a picture of the pickup. We painted our Burro, "L'il Jenny" to match the pickup, although the blues are not quite right. However, we will eventully have to paint the pickup anyway.

Fun, isn't it?
