Thought some of you folks might be interested in a few of the modifications we've done. The extra table and a/c location (and its camoflage) were ideas direct from a couple other forum members - thanks, you guys!

Here is the table, shown from head on and other angles to show how it was put together. (The original member's idea had a backgammon board stenciled on top, whereas our has illustrations of poker hands decoupaged on it since I can never keep them straight). The front leg was taken from an old fashioned RV table, and the back 3/4" birch veneer support just slips between the two cushions and rests on the fiberglass of the bench. Its pretty stable and slides easily back and forth the length of the bench. The leg and back support fold up when its put away.

This shot of the kitchenette shows the sliding cutting board on the sink that allows water to be flowing while the board is in place; the stove topper/countertop to give more flat space to work on; the electric dorm fridge in place of the original ice box and the cabinet door added to cover utensil drawer on top of fridge; the magazine rack scavenged (along with most of the finished wood trim pieces) from a junked conversion van...

We chose to add A/C but did not want to give up space in closet, so we went with the under-dinette table location. Even though its low, it cooled the interior very well, and we use a small clip-on helper fan when the table is lowered for the bed position to keep the cooled air moving out and around...

Hypocrits that we are, we just had to have the air, but didn't want to have the A/C prominently displayed outside the trailer - hence the camoflage...

We have a flap over the A/C controls inside that reminds us to make sure the cooler top is OPEN before running the A/C.

Be sure that the weight of the a/c in the back and the lessened LP load in the front haven't skewed your balance for towing -- Nice work inside!
