I am looking at installing a propane furnace in my Boler. I wamt something modern and extremely small so it does not take up too much space, even smaller than the OEM ones if possible...

Does anyone know of any models that may work?

Do you want a "furnace" proper, or just a heater?

I have installed one of These, a Wave 3 cat heater.

Not without precautions. They consume oxygen.

I don't sleep with it on, but have found it does a great job of heating my small space in even below freezing weather.

No electricity required.

My Scamp has small Surban furnace. Look at their web siter here to see they have one that would fit. Mine is under the sink.

I didn't see a link in the "Helpful-links" to Suburban Manufacturing. Maybe it should be added?

ya I definitely want a furnace, something I can run even while sleeping.

i would like to install something like this aswell. i think my 77 scamp may have had one at one time, because i have an area (about 7"x7") square closed off. looks like the furnace may have been under the sink and vented through that covered area. i could be wrong though that covered up square could have been for something else.

that sounds about right. Can anyone post a pic of what the furnace looks like under their sink....this way I know how much room they take up...perhaps they are smaller than I think....

thanks!!

Here's a picture I posted right after I got my scamp. The brown grate is the furnace. Later tonight I can get exact dimensions for you is you like. It's all the manual.

Inside of 2006 Scamp 13'

After posting the above url I discovered that the manuals are in the Document Center.
To make it easy here's the users manual and installation manual.

The furnace takes up the space between the bottom of the sink and the top of the wheel well. Unless you have shelves in that area it dosen't take away much if any usable space.
