The weather has just been miserable. Well, at least to work outside in but we did get a new awning mount attached to the frame of the trailer. When we sold the 1985 Foot 5th wheel the new owner did not want to pay full price so I removed the awning.

When we went to put it on the 1994 Foot 5er, it didn't fit. The awning was too long. It seems as though the newer trailer had a design change that caused the front lower end of the trailer to be shorter and there was no way to mount the awning bracket. We welded a piece of channel to the outside frame and then put on a plate to that so we could bolt on an awning arm bracket.

The last photo shows the awning on the 85'

The rest explain how the awning arm will now need to be mounted
