I spent the night in the McManison in my driveway last nite, to do a quazi shakedown. The new cushions in the thing are HEAVEN!!!
I sleep on the front gaucho, as it is as wide as a single and doing so leaves me the whole backroom for living space.
I had an eggcrate foam on it, but the firmness was heaven. I woke up rested this morning, and was warm and cozy. A memory foam will be the absolute ticket, me thinks.
The pups are at the kennel, we will see how this plays out when they return. They may actually get treated like dogs, and have to sleep under the bed. (How long do you think THAT will last???)

Maybe you need to give it another try Gina.
After working on that toilet sleeping on a pointy rock would feel good.
That way we would get a more accurate report.
I must say that I have been checking out the Walmart site for memory foam though.

I bought mine from
Overstock.com I paid $1 shipping & handling! 4" CalKing Size...got a twin bed size, Scamp goucho size and pillows all cut out of it for $169.
I see the prices have gone up...now $179.99 + $2.95 S&H. Still a good deal...I think

I bought some 1 1/2" memory foam. It really works great. I still can't believe it does so well being so thin.
