I remember finding these quite often in Europe and thought them useful, so I installed one to see if it would be of value in the Burro.
Claimed to warm and dry towels, dry wet clothes and undies, mitigate dampness, etc. etc. I found a model that would fit the bathroom wall and installed it with a couple of modifications. 120v, at 46 watts, switchable between shore power and inverter. Water resistant switch moved to the wall, and it is lit when on (night light?).
Puts out a surprising amount of heat from a measly 46 watts and is designed to run continuously. Our bathroom can be colder when the rest of the trailer is warm, but it seems like this should cut the chill nicely. We'll see.

This weight thing is a give-and-take thing for me. Thanks to the numerous free weighing stations here I can keep a close eye on how it is going. I'm working on a list of items to "lighten" to compensate, but unfortunately the cost and trouble of doing so increases gradually.
At least the weight of this towel warmer is on the curb side, which is significantly lighter than the street side.
This unit is a Warmrails "Regent" model, which comes in a convertible soft wired or hardwired configuration. I went a bit further, hacksawed off the switch box, drilled and routed the wiring through one of the mounting brackets, etc.
When my daughter was living in Dresden her apartment had one of these things. She found it great for drying clothes as well as making nice warmed towels.
For our long road trips, I'm thinking of using the "bucket in the back of the van" as a clothes washer. There should be no problem using this rack as a clothes dryer as we drive, I believe.

hmnn.. yes, that back bathroom wall screams for something, but the curve makes it difficult to do anything but stick up goofy tub stickies.
Perhaps I will do this, and hook up my battery powered Cold Heat soldering iron to warm it up..
