What is the bottom vent in front of the refridgerator for?

Is that the original stove? Ours had been replaced by previous owners who had disconnected the propane. The person we bought it from gave us a new stovetop, so we reconnected the gas.

Do you sleep that direction? Is it better than side to side? Of course, our TV is placed in a way that we likely would still sleep from side to side.

We are looking forward to our first trip. We can't go to the Illinois get-together this weekend, because of our daughter's graduation, but we are signed up for Nauvoo the next weekend.

Thanks we like it, we sleep side to side also i just put the shams that way. The stove is a replacement, we kept the old one. be prepared that the new one may not fit right. My husband had to make an aluminum ring to use under the lip on the new stove to make it fit but it worked out just fine. We are trying to keep it as original as we can. The bottom vent is a combination vent and access door so that we can get to the controls on the bottom of the frig, the propane and temp controls. Maggie

We are OK with the stove. Kevin had only a minor adjustment to make the stove fit.
We repainted the colors, since they were chipped and faded and added blue accents to make the stuff we bought for the Burro work. Seems like a palace after the Burro.

Since you have the same VT model that we have, have you done anything with your brakes? Our surge brakes are totally inoperable at the moment. Have you checked them...adjusted them....switched them to electric?
