found this on ebay and it is a DC 8 watt slimline single bulb fluorescant light fixture that draws only .6 amps ......for those that boondock alot ....and the price is the lowest i can find on the net.
Thought someone may be interested.

That's more like $20 with the shipping. I've seen similar lights in the past at Wally and Lowes for $10, with option to hardwire or use batteries.

Looked all over wally's and couldn't find them but will try lowes to see if it's there..... i like the idea of battery or hardwire

I bought a great 12v flourescent lamp off eBay from a young man who found a warehouse of them. You can also buy them from him direct. Not battery operated, but a good buy for a good light. Here's the post where I passed on my info.

thanks for the info..... i like the idea of two bulbs that can be turned on one or both.

I can't speak for Derek's pricing now, but I paid $15 including shipping for mine. I particularly wanted the option of one light or two over the dinette for romantic dinners or hobby stuff.
