Winegard HA-130 RV TV antenna

This was designed to mount on the flat side wall of a square RV. To mount it to my round egg, I bought a 6' x 1" x 1/8" aluminum bar, bent it into an inverted "L", and mounted the antenna to it. Then I mounted the whole assembly to the trailer, using pre-existing thru-hull screws; 2 on the side where the divider wall is between the kitchen and front room, and one on the Fan-Tastic Fan's mounting flange.

I'm here in Palm Springs for the Memorial Day weekend, and it is working well for the broadcast signals here.

Frederick,
Looks pretty good! Even if the bracket might "whistle" while you are underway, you'll never hear it in your tug.
Please let us know how it works with weaker signals, in an area with poorer reception. Have you used a different antenna? It would be nice to get your comparisons.
Thanks for the pictures of the installation,

It does work better than a set of "Rabbit Ears" that came with my TV set. shg.gif

I have discovered that it is "Directional", contrary to the claims of the packaging. I can turn it within the tube mounting to find the "sweet spot". Since I found the Palm Springs outlet for PBS, I was a happy camper for the weekend, and did not experiment with several weaker signals. All of the local network broadcast channels came in clear! 53.gif

I chose this because it looked to be simpler and easier than a crank-up "Batwing" antenna.
