Hi All

Well my story started about a month and a half ago, when I bought a 1976 trillium off a friend for $400. It was in a garage over last winter when the roof caved in on it, and a roof truss went through the front of it. This is what it looked like when I brought it home, after I took the mangled front window frame out of it.

Its coming along nicely.

Here is a pic of me buffing it. Notice how oxidated the bottom part is. This took me hours. Also you can see how close the paint matched. I just painted the section that was primer in the previous shot. You can definately see when you are looking at it, but it blends in pretty good to the passing glance. I matched it by taking in a piece of broken fiberglass to Home Hardware here in Canada and they hooked it up to a computer that calculated the colour. They mixed it on the spot, cost me $11 for the quart. Good deal. I just rolled it on.

also you can see above the replacement window, found it locally for $40. it is the exact size, but the frame is brown, not bare aluminum like the others. Oh well in a few years when I paint the trailer I will probably paint all the window frames anyways.

Here is a semi finished product, still have to hook up the propane that it never came with. I also have a 120V to 12V converter with a battery charger that came out of another trailer, a battery to install, and I also bought a compact 1350W heater too, should do the job.

Brought back to life! ( I guess winters can be hard on trailers in many ways)
