How many miles from Minneapolis is this ?

We might just make this our first 'egg event'. Our son will be a freshman at University of Minneapolis-Twin Cities this fall... will be in the Gopher marching band... and I see they have a game on Saturday afternoon. Perhaps we could setup our base of operations at Lanesboro and drive up for the game.

Just another reminder if you want to attend the fall EGG FEST call in your reservation or call ahead to the campground to make sure there is room for you.

There will be a bon fire ( large campfire? ) both Friday and Saturday night and also remember the pot luck saturdaynight 6:00pm at the picnic shelter .

Really looking forward to our first gathering, sounded like there was going to be lots of eggs, she said A and B were full! See you all in a couple of weeks.

We are planning to be there this year. Sign up for 5 nights, so I can get 1 night free! I wonder if the campground is flooded in some spots? Do we know how many are showing up this year?

I am excited to attend my first EggFest! The campground opened up some more sites, so my friend and I will be in B-5, which is next to the original 1-19. See you all on Friday night!

The only spot that flodded in the 1000 year flood last year was in loop c were we were last year.
We moved back up to the picnic shelter like the two previous years.

Looks like we are going to have a great turn out.
I have been going through my Cajun / creole recipies for Saturday evening pot luck.

We had a reservation for site 4 but had to officially cancel yesterday. Cindy and I have a meeting in Washington, DC, so we'll be thinking of all of you! Have fun!
