I was surfing yesterday looking for design ideas because in the Spring when I get back from snowbirding I'll be redoing the Playpac so I can use it and I think I was searching on tiny spaces or something. Anyway you know how one thing can lead to another and I came across the Westfalia. I can't believe what they have done to the old hippy van! Kudos to the designers! It really is amazing and anyone can get all kinds of little ideas from watching the little video thing at the bottom right side of the page. I'm in awe of what they have done really and it's a hybrid! Westfalia

I think I watched the little video thing ten times at least now.

What do you all think? I wonder if I can use anything at all into my redo.

Very COOL, but over priced.

The Westfalia has a large following. In fact, we have several former Westy owners who now own molded lightweight fiberglass trailers. 53.gif

I often thought of retrofitting campervan parts into my Honda Element.

Van/Bus parts are a big business, and I don't see why a lot of them couldn't be fit in an egg with little or even no modification.

My first "RV" was a 74 Westy, and I still kick myself for selling it.

Still have a 1978 Westfalia. We love the layout and the fact that we can sleep 4 adults and 1 child.
