I just found a HOT Key short cut for Firefox users. Maybe some Wondows user can let us know what the Windows Hot Key is.

Anyway, if you use Firefox and have lots of Tabs open, you can jump to any Tab by holding the Command Key down and clicking a number key. The number key is the number of the Tab reading left to right.

First Tab on the left is #1. So to jump to the 4th Tab from the left Click: "Command+4".

What would it be on your PC? ??? “Control+4”

Exactly Mike. On PC .... Control, + sign and 4

On Windows, it's CTRL + TAB. ----

clarification-- this rotates through each opened TAB one by one with each CTRL + TAB.

Sherri,

“CTRL + TAB” rotates through open applications and/or open browser windows NOT the TABS within Firefox.

In additon to CTRL-Tab - in windows you can do like Mike does on it Mac by hitting CTRL-<number>.

2 critical to me plugins are

- IE Tab : For those sites/applications that don't like Firefox
- Google Toolbar - quick google and bookmark access. Also provides you the same bookmarks no matter what PC you are using. Also available for IE.

I just tried it and it works as Sherri reported. When in FireFox CTRL Tab will cycle through the FireFox open tabs.

Also just CTRL and the number as Mike reported will work the same way CTRL 4 will bring the 4th tab to the front.
