Arkansas River in northwest Arkansas - near Fort Smith

Hi Hershel:

The timing will be interesting for us. The Bigfoot Rally starts in Branson on September 14. We have already signed up for that. We should be able to leave the River Valley rally that morning and still get there. We are really curious to find out where you are planning to have the event this year. We will plan on being there. Hi fellow egger's this is just a quick note and up date on RVER ,. Many have ask why we moved ? First I don't like being negative, so here goes. Mike & I went down to see how the park faired through heavy rains , not very well ! Under 2-3 ft of water I'm not going in to a lot of the issuers , if you wont to know more email me . Also the main reason is as we left last year we were told that they had a Big loss of money by having RVER there (turned away to many RVs ) in the next breath ask if we are coming back . Yesterday we were informed that we are no longer welcome . That is it in a nutshell. Lets go forward and have a better RVER II . I think you will all enjoy the new location & staff Hope to see as many as we had last year. Thanks Herschel RVER 08

The River Valley Egg Rally is in Van Buren, Arkansas.
Dates : September 11 thru 14 , 2008.

Registration is open , look for Michael`s page comming to day .

Once again we are organizing The River Valley Egg Rally.
For those of you who didn't make it last year, it was a blast.

This year's agenda is very similar to last year’s, with the addition of security class being taught by lane and poodle girls.

It is going to be a great time spent with great people.

The venue this year, while not on the river like last year (the old site was flooded this year), is a larger park with many more conveniences close at hand.

The club house is brand new, constructed September of 2007. The club house itself is almost twice the size of last year’s facility and has 3 large unisex restrooms, each with its own shower. Plus a restroom inside the club house itself.
Sure does beat last year’s site with all the restroom troubles.

The rally starts like last year with a catered dinner on Thursday for your convenience after your long drive, and ends with fantastic entertainment on Saturday night and a pancake breakfast on Sunday

And all the stuff you could possibly imagine packed in the middle.
