Sorry for not searching first. did not even know where to begin for searching on this topic.

After looking at the FRAME thread it got me wondering, is the floor glassed into the lower shell half or if was just screwed, riveted orrr? to the floor on the bottom edges of the shell orrrr??? I am assuming the shell does not curve under and form a complet bowl.

is the only attachements of lower shell to upper shell, the center seam w/rivets and some with the walls or is there anything else?

Anything different with the 5thW from the other trailers in this respect?

Thanx

Not sure how the Scamp floor is attached to the shell (I believe it is taped and glassed so it doesn't leak). From reading the group, I believe the floor is screwed to the frame.

Unlike Casita, the shell does not enclose the floor underneath it.

The 5W should be mostly the same as the S16, except for the front part, of course.

Inside the forward edge of the door frame is a vertical piece of about 1" square tubing to reinforce the opening. I believe this tubing is attached to both parts of the shell. The tubing is higher on the 5W.
