It's in
My Controls.
Under
Options, go to
Board Settings.
The first setting is your
time zone. The second is a check box for
automatic DST correction.

I STILL give up Mary. I'm set at Pacific Time Zone (Us and Canada) and the dst correction box IS checked, but the time still isn't working out right for me. (Its really not that big of a concern, but....

) ...its that one hour off still.

You can just do a “Work Around”.
Adjust the Zone until you get what you want. No one will know, and I’m not telling

Thanks for starting this thread, Doug. I didn't realize I could be in time sync with FiberglassRV. I've been putting up with GMT for years!
After checking, I'm not sure I've got DST either. My iMac clock setting (automatic) seems to still be PST. Last Fall I was off for a week or 2 until we reached the normal changeover time (before Congress increased DST last year). One question: Does Canada/BC changeover on the same date as the US does? I would think not. My computer says 4:56 and it's really 5:56, I think.

Yes except for Saskatewan which stays on regular time all year long.

Thanks, Donna. It's 9:28 and my computer is on appletime 8:28. I set board settings as Donna suggested.
Oh, well! Guess I'll need a fudge-factor.

Selected Mountain Time. It's 9:40 AM.
That didn't help much! Looks like I need a fudge factor for appletime, since that's the only way I can make an adjustment on my iMac.

ahhh did you change the display time on your computer along with changing it in though My Controls? You need to do both.

Thanks, Donna. Why aren't you at work? Now I'm in Phoenix! It's 9:53 AM.
My computer clock is good, but I'm not in sync with FiberglassRV.

It's 10:06 AM and a good thing I'm retired.
The whole thing was very logical and intuitive, I might add ;-)

I took the day off of work, I'm supposed to be working on a school project

Cruisin' FiberglassRV is more fun!

Is there a limit as to how many times I can post on the same thread? My nemesis was that little button at the bottom of the board settings page. If I don't remember to hit the edit button, doesn't matter what settings I change. Thanks again, Donna.

I don't think we have any throttles on number of posts per thread.
We do on emails so someone can’t send out a lot of SPAM.

In My Controls, under Options (on the left nav bar), you're going to Board Settings
Right?
Mike Sanders

TOP RIGHT CENTER >> Click on My Controls
left nav bar >> Scroll down to Options
In the section of OPTIONS, Click on Board Settings
In the first section, there is a pull down menu for changing your Your base time zone
Set your Your base time zone and then click the box for Auto correct DST if needed".
