dont know if its OEM but that storage box on the door is a good way to reshape a door and add some storage at the same time.

Not only an excellent idea, but a jump-off for another --

Make it a shoe/slipper tray, with a door mat in the entrance and (for us older and stiffer souls) a small folding chair staged for changing shoes, i.e., inside shoes for inside, outside shoes for outside.

I've seen the added stuff used to pull the door into shape and then that area was turned into a magazine rack... another member used the space to add a stereo speaker.

Did you remove the carpet on the door? And where did you get the storage envelope for the door? Thanks
