I was checking out Craigslist and came across this unit for sale. The heater appears to be within the showerhead. I wonder if it could be installed as an outdoor unit for one of our bathroomless tiny trailers?

I'm sure others will chime in, but I calculate 3250 watts on a 110 volt power supply to require a 30 amp circuit breaker! That's some power draw!

It's OK to look at these things for personal use in your own trailer. After all there are some things we just don't like to share. Asking questions here gets us all the up-sides and down-sides of using something. On the surface this water heater looked good but is outweighed by the bad.
How about the Coleman table top hot water heater?

I've seen others mention how much they liked the Coleman over it's competitor, the Zodi. The one on Craigslist had appeal because it was only $30 and was for sale very close to my home. I will probably end up getting the Coleman eventually. The truth is. . . I'm a sucker for a bargain and just hate to miss out on what appears to be a deal (at first glance!). I certainly appreciate the reality check this forum provides when I need it!

Great idea, Greg! The only problem is I don't have a yard. . . only a balcony and a community association. But maybe if I lost a couple of pounds the neighbors wouldn't mind.

A lot of bus converters are very high on the tankless water heaters for their deluxe motorhomes. And instant hot water is supposed to be more energy efficient than the ordinary kind.

But a tankless water heater wouldn't make much sense on my little Scamp fiver. The fresh water tank on a Scamp is only about 12 gallons (I think). The hot water tank adds another six to that total. It's a third of my total fresh water supply. I dry camp a lot, and the extra capacity is appreciated.

Umm.... if you buy it and shower on your balcony, will you be posting a picture?
