We have filled all the volunteer positions, now. Thanks everyone!

Many volunteers are needed for the Oregon Gathering... both to work and to bring things. Please read over the list below and post here if you can do any these things. I will try to keep this first posting updated with names.

Things to Bring
150 Wooden Stakes for Pickets (from Home Depot type store) (Ellen & Bret & Anne)
1 Large Package (about 15) large black garbage bags (Dave)
8 bags Marshmallows (Keith & Dee)
8 regular-sized boxes graham crackers (4 boxes=Gil & Kathy; 4 boxes=Lainey)
20 packages of 10 Hershey bars (5 pkg=Chuck & Deb; 5 pkg=Norma & Paul; 5 pkg=Anne)
4 hammers & about 300 small tacks(The kind with the large heads - [1-1/4" Roofing nails]) (All Tacks & 1 hammer=Donna; 1 hammer=Leslie, 1 hammer=Ian & 1 hammer=Frederick)

I was really hoping to resume my tradition of bringing the wooden stakes, but I don't think I'll be there early enough Wednesday. Darn!

I'll bring the garbage bags. If needed, I can also provide garbage.

Thanks Deb, I was going to wait till I get close to there, since we are coming from Colorado. That's why I was hoping for a Costco or Sam's but I am sure I will find some along the way. If not I will be buying them at every mini mart in town. Robin

We still need more people to sign up for jobs, please. Also, is anyone willing to bring 1/2 or all the wooden stakes from some place like Home Depot? They come in bundles of 25 or 50 (I think).

Hello Nancy and Mike:

We will bring a hammer and large tacks (roofing nails).

We will help with the packet assembly on Wed. and registration on Thurs.(let us know what time). Will help with registration on Friday if you do not have enough help.

On Sunday I will contribute to brunch by cooking up a mess of blueberry buckwheat pancakes as long as I can have a couple of stoves with griddles or large fry pans. We will also bring some Canadian maple syrup.

I know we will not win a trophy this year but I, we would enjoy presenting the trophy for the greatest distance travelled if that is OK with you.

We will be in Bandon on Tuesday evening.

willar, Thank You, for stepping in for me................. We sure wish we could be there to bring the candy bars. But it's life, at least for this week. We won't make the rally but are going to be able to pick up the rest of our vacation or at least some of it. Hope all of you have a great time! We hopefully will get to make it next year. Hear Bandon is beautiful! My Dh says we went by there on a trip, but I think it was at night and we were trying to meet up with friends so don't remember it. But hopefully next year we can check it out. Thanks again willar. Robin
