I am working on my trailer and today decided to re-organize the cupboards while I have it all apart. I knew that there was an awning in there but had never put it up so today I pulled it out to have a look. It's quite a neat thing although not that easy to run through the rail on the roof of the trailer. I wondered if it was original or something previous owners had come up with?Click to view attachment

I'm pretty sure that its original, or at least the rail is both my surfsides had that rail on them. However each one had different awning. The awning that you have looks much nicer then the one that you have but yes they are a pain to run through the rail on the trailer.

I think those were almost always dealer options. there's a lot of awning companies out there and any one of them could make a local deal. In Winnipeg, Manta Industries made a bunch of different ones. I have a tent/add-a-room with a floor that I was told was original to the camper. don't think so though cause the snaps don't match locations.
