Hi, everyone I am new to this forum as well as a new boler owner.
My 13ft.boler "Little Nasty" needs the interior painted not the ensolite,
that is pretty good. I know this is probably a topic that has been
covered many times but it is all new to me.
Does it all have to be sanded first? What kind of paint?
All I know is that the previous owners brought it in and had the inside
and outside sprayed at Maaco.

In my experience it depends on the paint job...if it is rough ...sand.. if not don't...I used porch and floor paint it worked well

IMHO: Its always a good idea to sand or at least scuff up any area to be painted. This gives the new paint a little something extra to bind onto. Do this outside (preferably) and USE a GOOD mask. F'glass particulate is murder on your lungs.

Brightside Marine paint, we did 2 coats, very durable.

If you want to have a slight textured look use a 'lint free' roller sleeve, and for a smother textured surface use a foam sleeve. The appended picture shows the 'textured look' IF you can look close enough.
