Searches for GPS or MPG return no results. I believe this may be because only longer words are indexed for searching, if a discussion on the Element forum I seem to remember applies. (Their solution was to ask for a list of 3-letter words to index. I had to convince them that WDH was a valid term!)

Since I decided this morning I need to upgrade my 10-year old combination PDA-with GPS sleeve, I need to search for the GPS threads that I know are lurking here.

I have had similar issues with 12v, LED and BAL. I was a bit confused at first as '+12v +plug' would return a mixed bag of results and then I realized that only 'plug' was being searched on.

Sometimes it works to use the wildcard '*'

i.e., search for GPS* (do not put in quotation marks).

The forum settings do restrict searching to 4 character (or longer) words.
