As the calander indicates, dates are May 8/9/10th! Can ya work some time off then and come krack some Eggs with us? You NEED to pre-register (FAST) through/will Craig Breckenridge (there's links to his pages an addy aleswhere in the B.C. thread) and NOT through the campground. Wouldn't hurt to get there a day two early (as we do) and maybe even stay a day or two longer, its SUCH a nice park and located close to many attractions.

Sandra, sorry about the delay in responding here. I have just tried to put up a (some) links to our meets with no success. I'll try sending you a personal message with our wagon master (Craig Breckenridge) addy in it. ALL reservations need to be made through him and NOT with the campground. He may be a little tardy in responding as he has just started up his own company and is VERY involved with that process. IF there's anything else I might be able to assist with, please don't hesitate to email me....

Hi Tammy, did you pre-register last fall like all the other 'faithful'!!!
One needs to contact MR. Breckenridge direct (email/snail mail or land line) to get registered if you haven't already done so.
P.S. I'll try to call you guys sometime tomorrow (Thursday), 'someone' will be there, RIGHT??

Hi to all.
I've been working with Stan to get things organized... we're a bit behind due to workload (real work due to my new position at the office) but I hope to send out the announcement this weekend. That may be delayed if Stan can't get back to me right away but it will be very soon. We are taking as many spots in the campground as are available and are looking to the GVRD on an exemption for the rule about 1 trailer per space. The Chinook pull through spaces MAY be allowed to have two trailers in each spot.
Announcing soon!

Enquireing mind(??) needs to know....
Does this mean that the"enquireing mind" might actually be social and join us this time?
Of course we will have a pot luck on Saturday night as well the communal fire over at the big pit by the stage so bring lots of fire wood!
The big question I have about this meet is will the jello shooters be at the fire pit again?? I have fond memories.
Per our last meet - please remember to making up a (weather proof) sign for your trailer - telling us who you are and the trailers make and age. Get creative - you never know there *may* be a prize for the most creative.

Na'Idon't THINK so Tim!!
A BAD day orderin in (FRESH) from Jim's pizza is better than any GOOD day of Pot-Luckin!
I believe they call it (Pot Luck) for a reason, LOL???
But... I will NEVER try to disuade anyone from joining in the SUPER spread the pot luck offers!
...can't wait'll MAY!!!!!

Hey Roger,
That would probably be me you met at Kobau. Unless this year was your first attendance as it is the first year I have not gone in over 20 years...
Can't wait to get together and chat a bit!

Okay, we are now booked for Friday and Saturday night.
I am going to try and get my work schedule changed cause I can't just book for Saturday night...
So not sure which site we will be in but it should be in Eagle (I requested 10-16)
First time out with the new trailer...
Potluck sounds good for Saturday night....

What we have done sometimes in the past is stay at the park, go to work and return to the park instead of going back home. IE: Home Away From Home.

Fine for you Doug, but it would be an 11 hour drive each way for me, just a tad too long of a commute from Calgary.

Jim, Doug n Anna-Marie live 'pretty close' by our standards (up here) but I do not know where he/she/they work. They both know where the
Trailer Goddess works and where I used to work.

Cupcakes (on Brandy)??? WOW, novel ~ idea!!
What TYPE/kind of Chocolate Brandy???
The
Trailer Goddess makes a killer hot
chocolate sauce but it cries out to be eaten at least WARM!! It might work well with the cupcakes?
<NOTE: subliminal message enclosed, is it working???>

YEAH, I got my shifts changed-

-so Doug and I will be out there probably around 6 on Friday night!!!
He works in New West and I will go [ick him up--we'll have the trailer loaded and hooke dup, so I can just trade one car for the other when I get home after work.
Then to hit the C R A W L of the freeway and the Port Mann bridge...... BLECH..
BTW Doug I work at Ridge Meadows Hospital--and you know how close that is to the park (even with the ferry lineup) but no way for me to park the trailer at work and we don't want/need two cars there!!!! So will just go home/get changed/get Doug and sit in traffic......
Doug Mager
Apr 5 2009, 08:32 AM
Do you think it might be a little easier commute to head over the 'Pat' bridge (almost but not quite as slow as the Port Man crawl and up that hill) head east and then cut over at some point (don't have a local map here in front of me) headed north to the freeway and the 'excite' for Fort Langley?
One (you) might/would have to be a little concerned (even in May) about heat build-up in that 'Mann' line up (ie: parking lot) and that 'up the cut', crawl. Friday afterwork drives home on that route can make for some loooong drive times. WATCH that gauge!!!!!
