You know those TV specials..... the tables that slide under what your siting on so you can pull things up close to you

Just looked online at the new ones. Damn't they redesigned them Now they got two legs. Really makes this idea much harder. hmmm.

I liked the older style for this better. It had one center post on the back edge of the table that the base legs attached too. Remove the base legs and put center post into a hole/socket you put in the floor of your egg.



Anyway it's just a thought and Im rambling

I have the newer style like in your link and like it alot...... the two legs at the bottom have a ball bearing that you press in and the lower leg will turn 90 deg. inward so that it will store flat....

ok just hit me how you might could use the newer model.

Cut the legs off just before they curve.

Put hole/socket in floor of egg to recieve it. Say like a 2x4 screwed UNDER the floor and then drilled into from inside with a hole saw to the right size. This makes a socket one tray leg sits in.

This socket should be right at the edge of bench seat or there abouts so the tray sits over the bench (so it ends up over the lap when sitting)

Pop one tray leg into the socket and keep one out. A plastic cap or something put on the end of the free leg.

Why one? So you can swing away your tray with your food on it to get up and down.

If your lucky the adjustable legs will allow the tray to drop down to a height lower than your bench seat cushions. That way folded up it would store right there in place.

Now granted..... if you use your table to make a bed out of..... nix this idea.

that idea might also work well on the front bunk, we plan to build shelves on either side of the front bunk area, making a smaller seat area right in the middle under the window, so that would probably work great there. I was also thinking of rigging up a drawer table like you have for you keyboard on a desk, that would slide out from the shelf and maybe fold open for a nice sized table surface. ooooh so many good ideas!!
