Tom:
Are the dates you list for the festival correct? All indications are that the festival is May 1. We live on the beautiful eastern shore of maryland and would love to connect with more eggs. Is there anything planned for the weekend that is egg specific besides swapping stories and info? 21 eggs is alot of eggs!

They have moved the festival to the next weekend but it is was not much of a festival anyway. We are leaving the Eggscursion on these dates. There is still a lot to do the weekend of the Eggcursion like.

The smell of hickory-smoked barbeque fills the air as folks roll up sleeves and dive in to sample their secret sauces on delectable ribs and wings from vendors from all over the Southeast on Thursday, April 23 at Gatlinburgʼs Ribfest & Wings. This festive street party features live entertainment, lots of fun and barbeque ribs and wings on the open grill just for your tasting.

We're looking for a 16-17" egg, sleep four, no bath, heat and air, not too old. Is anyone bringing one to the meet that might be for sale?

Revised plans? What were the original plans? A Plan? What's that? roflol.gif

Carol and I look forward to seeing Y'all. (I have to practice that. It comes naturally for her. Her accent will be fully restored by the time we leave.)

Can't answer that for sure but would think that most people coming to a rally would not have thier egg's for sale.

Hi Tom,
Looks like you could double last year's attendance. We really enjoyed the visit last year, but won't make it this year. We sold the bigfoot when we returned home last year and bought a 16.5 stickie with a slide and shower so we could have a little more room on extended trips( both retired now). We had a seven week trip to Texas this winter. Hope your event goes well.
Bill
TomP
Hi Bill

Your Bigfoot was the hit of the rally last year. I forget what year it was but it was really neat.

Looks like we will have around 40 this year. Wish you coild make it.

Catch you down the road somewhere.

Parker and Carol Site 41. We got out of the corner to be a little closer to the action this year, but it looks like the eggs will rule more of the park this time! banana.gif

We got a munchkin HDTV -- it could fit in your pocket -- anything to save space in a 13 footer!

Has anyone here tested HDTV antennas -- or found one that works in rural areas?
TomP
The weather here in Tennessee has been terriable so far this spring but it looks like a great week coming up for the Egggscursion with highs around 80 and lows around 55. banana.gif
See ya'll there.
Nancy
We will be there in spirit only. Everyone have a great time. The weather does look like it will be good.

Had the trailer checked over and loaded. The road was dry enough to get out, the ice is gone from the lake, had 3 camping spots picked out on the way down.

Thought Fred just had allergies, but he is sick. And then today we have snow coming down.

One of these years we will get down to join you guys. There were still some campsites left when I checked the campground a couple of days ago. Good thing I did not make reservations.

Have fun.

Nancy in northern Minnesota

This year was another great Eggscursion. We had 26 campers and 3 days of fun. It was nice seeing all the people that returned and meeting the new friends we made this year. The weather was perfect. The camper show and tell was a lot of fun and we got to see lots of neat mods. Our longest traveler was 877 miles from NY. We are looking forward to next year and hope everyone will be able to make it back.
Sheryl McDonald
Yep -- Another great rally! As Chris and I were driving home, we were lamenting that it was over way too fast; we may plan to come early and stay late next year.

It was perfect weather, with good food and friends! What more could a person ask for? (And all those eggspurts to camp near!)
