Eggselent upgrade to the board. That is new right.... or have I just been blind?

You might consider having the fast reply default when somone hits the reply button. Next to reply box have a [full reply] button available for the few who want the full reply option. Am basing this on the assumption most people us fast reply anyway.

confuse.gif Mine still shows "Add Reply" button next to "New Topic" button (below) and "Reply" button next to the "Edit" and "Quote" buttons.

IF these are what you mean by full reply and fast reply... they've both always been there, right where they are now. (Moving them around isn't something we can do easily, and it's the kind of thing we'd have to re-do with every software update. We learned the hard way not to tweak things too much.)

IF your browser's showing something different than what I described above, you're looking at something I'm not seeing at all.

Hi Coach/Mary,

Fast Reply seems to only be there within a certain time after the last reply - however, it does not seem to be consistent. It seems to use javascript to open an edit in place window as opposed to refreshing the page for the regular reply. Works great for meon dial up - a page takes 30 seconds to load on a regular reply but the fast reply is instantaneous.

Thanks to Roger H for helping sleuth this one. It's a setting that was switched on in some forums, but not others. It should be available for all discussions now.

Thanks, Coach, for bringing it to our attention. 94.gif
