For the past month or so, I am not able to view posted photographs. If they are snapshots and can be enlarged I can see them. This is beginning to aggravate me. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it. It is probably a browser or firewall problem but I still don't know what to do about it. Thank you in advance.

Well let's start with what you're using and see if something on your end may be causing the problem.

When was the last time you dumped the cache? This is where I'd start looking for the problem.

Firefox: Tools > Clear Private Data Make sure "cache" is selected. Click "clear private data."

IE: Tools > options > on the General Tab under Temporary Internet Files... click Clear temporary files.

See if that works for you.
