Just wondering if there is any interest in getting together in late January, perhaps the 30th or 31st? My partner and I would be willing to host a gathering at our house in San Diego or even a campout in the desert.

I don't have an egg yet, but I would love to. I live in the San Diego county mountains, Cleveland National Forest, also grew up in El Centro, very familiar with all the spots. I would love to meet you all and get to know more about the different kinds of eggs out there. I will be keeping up with this thread and have very, very firm plans to be on the road by the end of February. It would be nice to see and learn about your eggs before I buy. I will take good notes, seriously. I will be keeping up with this thread. Let me know if you need to know a good place for trailers this time of year in the desert, right off the tip I suggest the Superstition Mountains. I could give detailed directions, born and raised out there. Let me know or I will just keep watch! Really would love it!

Hello, I'm new on this board and have just purchased a 2005 Casita 17 SD. Can't make the January get together but, would like to partake in some Southern Cal ralleys/camping get togethers. I've noticed most activities on these boards are in other parts of the country, not many around these parts.

Michael, please post the particulars here. There are folks who may stumble across the topic and may be able to attend, but would like to know exactly what this is all about. Date/location/costs, etc. And, don't forget to put it in the Calendar!

Hi, David & Since you expressed an interest in attending some Egg-gatherings, you might like to join some of us near Quartzsite, Arizona the weekend of Feb. 6-8, 2009. Quartzsite is about 20 miles east of the CA/AZ border, at the intersection of I-10 and AZ Hwy 95. We will be dry-camping in a BLM "dispersed camping area" - fresh water, dump station, propane, groceries, etc are available in 'town' about 3 miles away.
