Very SIMPLE, Quick and easy. This one is a 'NO-BRAINER'.

That was staple fare when the kids were growing. Never thought to garnish the dogs.

I've never been to Saskatchewan, but I would imagine that authentic Saskatchewan seafood is hard to come by.

MAN, ya'll have a LOT to learn about gastronomic delights....

Firstly, T'ain't 'dogs', they be Tube Steaks.

secondly, they don't resemble SQUID, its Calamari!!

thirdly, not 'mac n cheeze', its Penne au Fromage!!

Don't you all know an octopus when you see one? I made weenie octopus for my kids all the time when they were growing up--in CA! Actually, they preferred "weenie men" though:
1. lay the weenie down and cut up his middle from the bottom to the middle of the weenie, forming his legs

2. Cut inward and up from the top of his legs towards about the top 1/5th of the weenie.

3. Dunk him in boiling water and his "arms" and "legs" will spread out a bit

4. Bite your weenie man's head off!

I've lived in Sask. my whole life the only other seafood we have are Prairie oysters, you don't want a picture of those! 22.gif

I've given you the directions! Make one, take a picture and post it! I'm picture-post-illiterate! No, please don't try to explain how to post pictures. I've still got Donna's directions from way back when--and Gina's too, probably! Still can't do it!
