Lake San Antonio Rally - May 7-11, 2009
Once again we are hosting the Lake San Antonio Rally.
Save the dates of May 7th thru 11th, 2009. We have already had many people sign up and have only a few sites left. It looks like there are 2 sites left. If you are interested please contact us right away. People that came last year received an invitation a week ago and have already signed up if they are planning on coming.
This Rally reservations are different in that Lori and I have reserved the entire Harris loop for this rally. We will be taking ALL the reservations and collecting ALL the money. We do this so that there are NO non-rally people/trailers in our section. We have paid for the entire section and so please let us know if you would like to come. We will do our best to make room for you.
Mike
Please check for your name if you are attending to make sure I have it correct.
The site numbers are tentative.

The first year we had the Rally on Mother's Day weekend we wondered if anyone would come. It turned out we were doubling up on the sites.
Since then, we always do Mother's Day weekend. It is the weekend following the Big Wild Flower Triathlon at the lake. It is the best chance to have great weather and is a fairly quiet weekend.

We had so much fun last year that we are really looking forward to this campout. The location was perfect with the wild turkeys each morning and the lake that changes colors all day. The movies under the stars, and the dutch oven cooking are not to be missed. We can't wait to see what is in store for us this year.

We are looking at having another BBQ if we can work it out. We'll also have a potluck dinner, movie nights, game days, swap meet, give-away table, and more.

Looks like we'd be arriving Thursday and staying 'til Sunday morning, three nights for a total of $83. Please let me know to where I should mail the check (or drop it by).

Should be a beautiful time of year to be out there.
As for sites, our girls will want to spend most of their time in the water, so it would be nice to have a site on the water. But we're not picky.

Sounds good. YES, this has worked out to be an excellent weekend in the past. It is following the Triathlon weekend and two weeks before the Memorial day weekend. Nice and green, warm weather, and few people.
Please send the check to:

PS: Most all the sites have a good lake view. Non of them are right down on the water, but it is an easy walk.

Mike and Lori,
I had been vascilating on San Antonio but decided that I like to do it.
I see that all the sites are taken so can you put me on a waiting list in the event any of those who haven't paid as yet decide to cancel.
I would be coming in sometime afternoon Thursday and leaving Sunday. 3 nights $83.
I noticed Lance and Mary McArthur are attending, it would be good to see them again as well as everyone else I know.

OH GOOD. Joy, plan on coming.
We have permission to double up in sites that are large enough. Even though we can place two per site, we still have to pay the standard price for each trailer. I will make sure Lori assigns you a place.

Great....Mike.
I'll sent you a check and plan on being there sometime Thursday. I return from a golf trip Weds. and have a hair appointment Thurs. that I'll try to move to first thing in the morning or out a week.
I grew up in that area but haven't been down there since we sold the ranch 16 years ago. I was so attached to ranch that I couldn't get myself to go down there. That's why I haven't attended prior gatherings at San Antonio.
This year I said "Get a grip" "Life happens"

I've added Joy to the list of attendees. Also, Phil Caster is coming with his new trailer.

We just ordered our Egg today but won't be able to pick up the Casita until mid May. It sucks when work interferes with fun.
We visited your Casita Get Together at the Lake last year, actually that's where we changed our minds from the SD to the Liberty. We would like to stop by and say hello and (if it's OK with Carol) take another look at Carol's Liberty since we would like to set up our beds the same way.

Hi Mike & Lori,
I noticed you don't have "paid" beside my name. Maybe it is because I only paid you for two nights and will pay the park for the first night of three nights? At any rate, let me know if there's a problem.
I have a friend who is interested in seeing a 13' fiberglass trailer. She said she'd like to visit on Sat. if there will be any 13' trailers available to look at. She knows they are not necessarily for sale, but I've told her we usually have open house on Sat. sometime. Could you tell me if you expect 13' trailers to be there? I know Joy has a 13' Scamp, but don't know if she'll be bringing her trailer or staying with someone else.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks Lizbeth. I realized too late that I only need to look at all three pages to figure out who has what. So far as I can tell, you and Joy Avila are the only two 13' ers who will be there, but I'll let my friend know. I think she is getting excited about the opportunity to see a few fiberglass rv's. I hope you get your new trailer soon -- but not TOO soon.

We have a 13' Casita, as do the Ashby's. I think (wish my memory of names was better) there is a second Boler in addition to Lizbeth's as well. That would make a total of five 13' trailers from three manufacturers in attendance.

Thanks for the info, Bill. Without Joy and her Scamp (I'm sad she & Lily won't be there), we should then have four 13 footers. I think Cathleen will be thrilled to see four.
