I posted a Scamp for sale yesterday. Today I wanted to make a possible change to the original posting and the 'Edit' button is no longer there even though I am logged in. How to I get access to the 'Edit' button? The 'Edit' button was available after I posted this question for this post, so why not for the post I made yesterday? Thanks.

Roger,

The other moderators can check me on this but I believe you only get to modify your own post for 24 hours. There are a number of reasons for this but largely it's to limit mischief. Sort of a hard lesson from the past so now it's policy for members.

It's been that way for as long as I've been on the site, I think you've only just noticed because you have a change to make.

Just go ahead and add another post.

Steve's right.

And, Roger, if your new post is something along the lines of "SOLD!" one of the moderators will edit your subject line for you.
