My new cushions made with 4" high density foam and a high quality fabric. The foam is the most expensive part at $65 for just two seat cushions. Used the original foam for the back rest. I went with a single welt in the middle instead of a box welt used on the original cushions. I think its more comfortable and wears better. I also cut 2" off the length of the back rest cushion as they were oversized and had to be stuffed into place.. You can see pics in my curtain album.

Very nice looking new cushions. My wife recovered our captain chairs a few years back and we have been pleased with the higher quality of material. We also added a storage cabinet with the help of a special Casita friend, under the captain chair for extra storage.

I also made a padded head bump gaurd with matching fabric and am thinking of cornice boxes too.
