Yesterday was the first day that we have had for a while without rain. Took advantage of the sunshine to install the new stained glass window that we recently ordered from rvstainedglass.com. Kathy Magarelli, who operates that business, was a real pleasure to work with. Although she is happy to do custom work, we decided on one of her "stock" designs. I did have a phone conversation with her concerning the colors that she would use to make our window. We were quite pleased with the result!

Hi Paul - thank you for posting the pics of your beautiful stained glass window. Ms. Magarelli does truly nice work.
As much as we like the idea of stained glass in the door, we can't give up the ventilation the operable window provides. Enjoy your 'rolling art' and happy camping! L 'n D

We also have a stained glass window that was done by Ann Condron. We've never met Ann but worked with her through emails and a photo that we emailed her. We love our window.

We didn't remove the original window, but added this stained glass window next to it. It fit perfect.

This is Jerry, our cat.

Paul - nice glass, the colors are great!

Like Carol we got ours from Ann Condron and installed it inside the original glass. Those familiar with TX might recognize the Alamo, the San Jacinto monument and the TX sun in August! winky.gif

I overlooked mentioning that I replaced the origional glass with a sheet of clear plexiglass provided with my stained glass for a slight extra charge. Better protection!

Hey Don, just want you to know that you are kind of my hero for mods! I'm always checking your web site at Flickr to see what new idea you have come up with next! smil.gif

I really enjoy seeing the different stained glass panels being made. I love working with the windows in our trailers. I hope to make a Carousel horse for our Casita and have already pulled the glass. I will start this project after I finish our new curtains. I guess it is time to fix up our trailer after owning it for five years. Over the past few months I have also made panels for a Boler and a Scamp. Can't wait to see them installed. Here is a picture of the Boler window.

Thanks for the kind words Paul. Many of 'my' mods are inspired by, or direct copies of, those done by members of this and other forums. exactly.gif

Enjoy the photos!

Here is the window I just finished for our trailer. The quarter moon bevel is the peephole.
