I stumbled across the topic on Bolerama, and thought our east coast membership would like to hear about it:

My name is Deb and I organized the “Boler Meet” for Vintage Fiberglass Campers in Nova Scotia last year. Many of you have expressed interest in attending this year and so here is the information. And of course, pass the info on to others you may know!

July 24, 25 & 26 (Potluck on Saturday)

King Neptune Campground - you must call and make your own booking but let me know if you book so I can keep track of number of attendees. debric[at]eastlink.ca

Contact the campground at: Kay Richardson, 8536 Peggy's Cove Rd, Indian Harbour, NS B3Z 3P4 (902) 823-2582 and tell them you are with the Boler/Vintage Camper group.

Facilities include fire pits, picnic tables, flush toilets and pay showers. Pets are welcome. Campground is on the ocean, so mosquitos are few!

Activities around the area include golf, sightseeing (i.e. Chester, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Halifax waterfront, citadel, Peggy’s Cove, Swiss Air Memorial), beaches.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks Donna for posting the notice regarding the NS meet. And Chris for posting the pics - it's a simple family campground, but with the ocean frontage... beautiful! Let's hope for no fog this year!!

Alf,

There is a good campground at the North end of NB minutes off the main highway. We've stopped at the de la République Provincial Park on both the way out and back.

I've had a message from a couple in North Bay, ON who are interested in making the trip to NS for the meet.

"...we were at Emily last year and loved it ..maybe you could post on the bolerama and fb rv sites to see if someone would try to organise a caravan of eggs to go east ..maybe make it a 5 day trip to get there..."

If anyone is interested, drop me a note.

I found this shot on the website for Five Islands Provincial Park, right on the Bay of Fundy. I haven't been to this campground but plan on checking it out this summer. If you look under Campground B some sites are listed as "View Sites".

Just a reminder that the NS Vintage Fiberglass camper meet is coming up in July!!! We've got at least 11 registered campers so far, so make your reservation soon! And let me know when you do!

Hi Chris,
If you have the time the - Bolerama meet in Ontario is 2 weeks before. You could drop in on your way out east and have a leisurely pace. Plus you could get some Provinces on that map of yours.
