We're planning a guy's weekend of camping. We're ignoring the calories and fat content and are looking for really great recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We'll have portable grills, stoves, a smoker (if needed), and the campfire, and I would even fire up the oven if there's a great recipe that calls for it.

Any suggestions are appreciated. The sky's the limit.

One idea was the do something like a Turducken, but with all pork products. A quick search came up with these:

Bacon Explosion-this is more doable than the first one. I was thinking of following the suggestion of putting it between two Grands biscuits, but throwing the cooked meat and the raw biscuits into a pie-maker to cook!

Oh my stars I shouldn't have read the Bacon Explosion recipe before breakfast. Now my stomach is growing.

My only thoughts is the barbecue method would probably be best as it allows all the excess fat to drip off. If you put the raw ingredients into the Grands... they're liable to act like a sponge when soaking up the grease and that could ruin the entire thing.

Fire up that oven, and Google Martha Stewart's macaroni and cheese. You could make it at home and bake it there. I think a recipe for 12 might serve four hungry guys.

What about Tacos? You could have a Mexican feast. Just don't forget the tequilla shots

I knew it looked high calorie, but if just reading about it makes your stomach grow, that's scary!

It made have artery clogging properties, but that Bacon Explosion does look good. About time to fire up the ol' smoker.
