Where to put the awning pole was always an issue. No matter where it was it was always in the way or falling over or getting caught up in something in the closet. Ended up sticking (no screws into fiberglass) a couple of broom hanger loops to the inside of the door frame. I put the hook of the pole over the top loop and the bottom of the pole through the bottom one and it does not move at all! Wonder what took me so long to do this. LOL

I already had my fishing poles there so I put my awning wand behind the screen door.

Scamp owners should note that underneath the door side of the trailer is a box beam running fore-and-aft that is open at both ends -- Something long could be stored there if properly tied down.

Thanks Pete never noticed it before! Mine actually has three. Just would have to find a cap of some sort to fit it.

We wrapped the pole with velcro in four spots, and applied the opposing velcro to four corresponding spots in that little space between the door hinge and the closet corner. Have yet to find it on the floor, but always handy when we stop.
I like the broom holders, though. I might try that for the hiking poles in the deep, odd shaped corner of the closet, behind my hanging "shoe bag" and drawers. With the handles, they're a little tougher to keep in place. Thanks for the idea!
