You need a average of 3 quart of paint for your Trillium
Use a good quality paint Urethane paint it"s the best and you need primer before it's important
And i recommand you tint your primer same color as the paint !!!

If you make a chip on your paint ( gravel impact ) you don't see them
And if it is not a obligation don't paint it, give a compoud and buff it and after wax it !!!

I fully agree with Yvon Chayer.
If you can buff the original gelcoat you are better off. The longer you can keep the original finish the easier your maintenance will be.
I have painted our 13 ft Boler with Brightsides and have a bit left after two coats from four litres. I painted the trailer besause of some roof damage that we found after removing the old paint, applied by a previous owner. I know that when you paint eventually you will have to do it again, no matter how good your paint job.

8 litres was more than enough to paint my 13 ft Boler with a roller. I have enough left over for future touchups. I am not sure if spraying will use more or less.

There are gelcoat products available to restore the original finish

but, if you are painting then sand. sand.sand, fill in holes, chips etc with Bondo and then sand, sand, sand! Use a good quality sandable primer and then sand, sand, sand!

Finally paint, sand lightly, and apply second coat etc.

I just painted my 13' Scamp and did it with Omni white epoxy primer and Omni base coat/clear coat (white) and used about 3 quarts of pimer and 1 gal of paint, now thats mixed,I bought a gal of primer and a gal of paint, the primer mixes 2 - 1 primer/hardner and paint is 1-1 paint & thinner , so I still have about a qt of primer and 1/2 gal of paint left over.
