Yikes! Makes me want to hook up the Trillium and go to the deep woods and try to add a couple more birds to my "life list". Glad I'm retired!

It means that if you do a sloppy job programming a comuter, it will give you sloppy results. 22.gif

Yes it did start out as a tongue-in-cheek term used by propeller heads (I R 1), but has evolved to be used by anyone (attempting) to transfer information. Think of trying to develop a piece of sales collateral and the content was written on the back of a cocktail napkin! Good ideas are generated from brain dumps, but GAD it needs to be at least coherent. For instance that cocktail napkin may be better off used to blow your nose. Otherwise, garbage in, garbage out.

What I was trying to say is that statistics all lie to some extent.
The world is changing demograpicly. Is that a problem for us WASPs?
I seem to smell a faint odor of racism in those selectively chosen facts.
I will welcome all changes in my future family if they are happy and productive
even if different than now.
Skewed facts in yield skewed facts out.

The YouTube video didn't mention the version, but version 3.0 was created in 2008. Sony BMG adapted the video for an executive meeting held in Rome last fall. And Jim you're correct, anyone can make statistics lie or at least skew the results. However anyone that has a teenager in the family knows the statistics regarding technology is pretty factual.... it's leaving an ole dog like me in the dust! The Mellennials are here! What is millennials?

I haven't heard GIGO referred to since 1988 ( when I studied Pascal and FORTRAN ) 52.gif
